Coffee is one of the world's most consumed drinks, and it's often badly brewed. KAFA takes you from your first cup all the way to extraction curves, with the coffee you already buy. Snap your coffee bag. The app reads what's printed on it (origin, variety, process, roast) and builds the recipe for that exact coffee: dose, water, temperature, pours, and the setting in your own grinder's clicks. THREE LEVELS Beginner, every move explained. Amateur, the amounts and key moments on screen. Pro, you set everything by hand: grind, water, dose, yield. From your profile, switch between the levels your subscription includes. THE GUIDED BREW The timer calls each pour ahead of time and a voice guides you. With a Bluetooth scale (Acaia, Bookoo, Felicita), the weight shows live. THE SCHOOL Short illustrated lessons to learn what shapes the taste of your cup: extraction, water, origins, espresso, milk, tasting. Too sour, too bitter? Say so after drinking: the app changes a single variable and tells you why. YOUR COLLECTION Every bag becomes a card in the colors of its packaging, with its origin on the world map and the journal of your brews. SUBSCRIPTIONS KAFA Amateur, monthly or yearly: 5 new bags a month (rescanning one you've already scanned doesn't count), almost the whole School, the Amateur level, Kasuya's (4:6) and Rao's recipes, and your connected scale. KAFA Pro, monthly or yearly: everything in Amateur, plus unlimited scans (within fair use), the Pro level, the measuring tools and their lessons (flow rate, compared curves, TDS, cup weighing) and the other barista recipes. Prices show in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Google Play account on confirmation. Renewal is automatic, and you can cancel anytime in the Play Store, under Subscriptions; access stays open until the end of the paid period. YOUR PHOTO AND AI Your photo goes through our server, then to Google (Gemini), which reads the label and draws the card's artwork. If Gemini doesn't respond, Anthropic (Claude) takes over. The app asks for your consent before the first upload. BRANDS NAMED KAFA is not affiliated with any roaster, equipment maker or barista named.
