Kadazan2Go: Learn Kadazan

Kadazan2Go helps you learn the Kadazan language of Sabah through a bundled dictionary and multiple-choice quizzes — anywhere, without a connection. The Kadazan language is spoken by the Kadazan people of Sabah, Malaysia. Kadazan2Go is a small, respectful attempt to make it easier to practise every day. WORKS COMPLETELY OFFLINE The dictionary is built into the app. There is no account to create and no sign-in. Your progress is stored only on your own device, and clearing the app removes it. The app shares only anonymous usage and crash data, which you can switch off in Settings. Kadazan2Go works the same on a plane, in a village with no signal, or anywhere else. BROWSE THE DICTIONARY Every entry carries Kadazan, English and Bahasa Malaysia together, so you can move between the three. Search in any of them, or browse by category: greetings, family, numbers, expressions, questions, food, nature, colours and animals. Entries include a pronunciation guide and usage notes where they help. PRACTISE WITH QUIZZES Quizzes ask you to match a word across languages, and you choose the direction — Kadazan to English, English to Kadazan, Kadazan to Bahasa Malaysia, and so on. Set how many questions each round should have, and skip a word if you would rather come back to it. PRACTICE THAT ADAPTS TO YOU Kadazan2Go pays attention to which words you find difficult. Words you answer incorrectly, and words you have not seen for a while, come up more often than ones you have already mastered — so your practice time goes where it is actually needed instead of being spread evenly across words you already know. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS See how many words you have mastered, how many quizzes you have completed, and how your accuracy is developing. You can reset everything at any time. ABOUT THE VOCABULARY The dictionary follows the Penampang dialect of Kadazan. It is an ongoing effort: entries are still being reviewed with the help of native speakers, and corrections are welcome. If you spot a word that is wrong, please get in touch — accuracy matters more to us than the size of the word list.
