Full description
Other location alarms alert you when you enter a circle. NapStop draws a line straight across your route, so the alert cannot slip past you. Regular alarms ring at a time. This one rings at a place. Ever fallen asleep on the train and missed your stop? NapStop is the location alarm that wakes you just before you arrive. It doesn't matter if the train is delayed or the bus is slow: you don't depend on the clock, you depend on where you are. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open the map and tap "Draw alert". 2. Drag your finger to draw a line across your route, a few minutes before your stop. 3. That's it: the alert is saved and armed the moment you let go. Nothing to confirm. 4. When you cross the line, NapStop rings full screen. FEATURES • GPS location alarm on Google Maps, drawing a line instead of a point. • Rings even in silent mode: it uses the system alarm channel, just like a clock alarm. • Vibration and full-screen alert, even when your phone is locked and the screen is off. • Up to two alerts at once: one as a warning and one as a backup. • A triggered alert stays marked on the map, so you can see where it rang. • Alerts expire on their own after 24 hours, so it never rings out of the blue days later. • Works in the background and with the app closed. • No sign-up, no accounts: just install and use. • Available in English, Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese, German, French and Italian. PERFECT FOR • Long journeys by train or high-speed rail. • Commuter and intercity buses. • Late-night trips home. • Any time you want a nap without worrying about missing your stop. LOCATION USE NapStop needs background location access to alert you with the app closed or not in use. Without this permission, the core feature cannot work. Your coordinates are processed only on your device to detect the line crossing. NapStop has no servers and sends your position to none. ADS The app is free and supported by a small banner on the map and the alarm list. You will never see ads on the alarm screen itself: when it rings, there is only the button to turn it off. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may use your advertising identifier. You will be asked for consent before the first ad loads. Full details are in our privacy policy. TIPS For the most reliable alarm, grant the location permission in "allow all the time" mode and disable battery optimization for NapStop. In tunnels or areas without GPS coverage the alert may be delayed, so draw your line a few minutes before your actual stop. NapStop helps you rest on your journeys, but it depends on GPS signal, battery and the operating system. Use it as a backup, not as your only method on critical trips.

What's new

• New icon that better reflects how the app works: a point crossing a line. • The app is smaller and installs faster.
