Full description
opentransit plans public transport trips in nine cities, from one address to another, with live vehicles and live arrivals wherever the agency publishes them. CITIES Bogotá, Toronto, Boston, Santiago de Chile, Rome, Lisbon, Casablanca, Kuala Lumpur and Brisbane. One app, wherever you land. DOOR TO DOOR Type an address or a place, or pick the point straight off the map. Bus, metro, commuter rail, tram, ferry, cable car, shared bikes and walking are combined into one trip, with park-and-ride where it helps. LIVE WHERE IT EXISTS Where the agency publishes a GTFS-Realtime feed you see vehicles moving on the map and arrivals counting down. Casablanca and Santiago are timetable-only, because no open realtime feed exists there, and the app says so on screen instead of pretending. LOCATE MY BUS Pick a route and a stop, and watch the vehicle that is coming for you. SCHEDULED TRIPS Home to Work every weekday, or one appointment tomorrow. A reminder the evening before, a fresh plan twenty minutes before you leave, and an alert when it is time to go. FOLLOW ALONG Next stops, a clear "get off here", Live Activities and the Dynamic Island on iPhone, an Apple Watch app, and a link you can send so whoever is waiting sees your ETA. SHARED BIKES Bluebikes in Boston, Bike Share Toronto, Bike Santiago and Tembici in Bogotá: stations with live bike and dock counts, planned as part of the trip. TAXI AND RIDE-HAILING Where it makes sense, the app hands the trip over to a taxi or ride-hailing app with pickup and drop-off already filled in. FARES AND ALERTS Estimated fares, always labelled as estimates, and the service alerts the agency publishes. SEVEN LANGUAGES English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Malay and Arabic. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No account, no email, no ads, no trackers. Favourites and trips stay on your device. Analytics can be switched off in Settings and never carries what you typed. opentransit is free and open source (MIT) and is not the official app of any transit agency: it reads the open data they publish. What's new

Offline timetables: download your city and departures work underground or with no data. You can plan trips without a network too. The stop page is now a map with the buses approaching it. We say when a time is live, estimated or from the timetable, and when it came from the saved one. Vehicle occupancy where the agency publishes it. An app icon in your city's colours.
