GoRise: Smart Alarm Clock

An alarm you can switch off in your sleep is not an alarm. GoRise keeps ringing until you finish a mission, and it sets itself from a photo of your work schedule, so every shift has an alarm before you go to bed. That is what makes an alarm smart. Not a louder ringtone. One that knows you are actually awake. MISSIONS THAT GET YOU OUT OF BED Choose what it takes to earn silence: • MATH — solve problems until you are properly awake • PHOTO — get up and photograph something across the room • STEPS — walk a set number before it stops • VOICE — say a phrase out loud • PUZZLE — finish a sliding puzzle • CAMERA — push-ups, walking or a dance, counted on your phone Strict on the mornings that matter, gentle on the ones that don't. IT WILL NOT BE SWIPED AWAY The alarm re-fires until the mission is finished. No dismissing it half asleep, no waking at eleven wondering what happened. Made for heavy sleepers and chronic oversleepers — and it can be gentle on a day off. IT RINGS WHEN IT SHOULD Stop it from the lock screen and it comes straight back. Repeating alarms ring every day. An alarm that might not go off is not worth setting. IT DECIDES HOW HARD TO BE Critical morning tomorrow? Stricter. Day off? Gentle, snooze all you like. GoRise reads what is on tomorrow, how much you have been snoozing lately and what you said is at stake — then tells you exactly why it chose what it chose. IT SETS ITSELF Photograph your work schedule, on paper or on a screen, and GoRise reads the dates, tells early, late and night shifts apart, and puts an alarm on every working day. Check what it read and fix anything with a tap. Re-import when it changes and the alarms follow, including shifts that disappear. Rotating shifts, nights, 12-hour shifts, four-on four-off, on-call weeks. IT KNOWS WHEN YOU MUST LEAVE • Your commute and a buffer are built into every alarm • "Leave by 06:15", not a start time you have to do math on • Tomorrow's weather where you are going, so you dress once IT BRIEFS YOU A short spoken briefing for the day ahead: start time, leave-by, commute, the weather where you are going. Ready the moment you finish your mission. SLEEP TRACKING WITHOUT THE FICTION • Time in bed, honestly labelled — never invented "sleep stages" • Night-shift sleep and day sleep, side by side • A quick-turnaround warning when a late finish meets an early start • Snore minutes measured on your phone. Audio is never recorded or uploaded A RECORD YOU CAN TRUST Every wake logged: when it fired, what you did, whether you were on time. Your streak is the days you did not miss. GORISE PRO The AI voice briefing, adaptive strictness, the weekly coach and sleep insight are Pro. Alarms, missions, schedule import and your record are free. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled in Google Play. PRIVACY Schedule photos are read once and never stored. Speech is checked on your phone and discarded. Health data stays on your device. Location is used only for the forecast. Delete your account and everything in it from Account → Delete account. COMMON QUESTIONS "I turn alarms off in my sleep." That is the problem GoRise solves — the mission has to be finished before it stops. "Too harsh for the weekend?" Keep it gentle on a day off and strict on the mornings that matter. "I am a really heavy sleeper." Choose a harder mission. It keeps coming back until you finish it. A smart alarm clock should make you prove you are up, then do the thinking about tomorrow so you don't have to.
