Jemzy

Jemzy is a location-based video communication app built for real community without the noise. Instead of a feed, you get a map. Instead of scrolling, you walk. Here's how it works: - Drop a Jem. Open the app anywhere that means something to you. Record up to 60 seconds - no editing, no filters, no performance required. Drop it on the map at your exact location. - Explore the map. See short videos left by real people nearby — neighbors, regulars, and explorers. No algorithm deciding what you see. No sponsored content mixed in. - Walk to unlock. Spot a Jem that interests you? Walk within 100 feet of it to watch for free. The physical proximity is the point. Jemzy gets you moving through your city, not sitting in it. Built for people who want connection without pressure. Jemzy is designed with introverts in mind - people who want real community but don't need a megaphone to feel part of it. There's no follower count. No public likes. No one watching your numbers go up or down. Just a map, and real people nearby who left something worth finding. What you won't find here: - No endless feed to scroll - No data selling or ad targeting - No anonymous pile-ons (everyone uses their real name) - No algorithm deciding what matters What you will find: - Short, unedited videos from real people in your area - Local businesses, events, and community spaces on the map - A way to explore your city that actually gets you outside Made for peace. Jemzy is for the person who wants to feel more present in their community - not more performative online. Whether you're exploring a farmers market, leaving a note at your favorite trail, or just looking to feel a little less alone in a city full of people, there's a place for you here. Jemzy requires users to be 18 or older.
