Full description
JamoWell Hangul Lab is an offline-first Hangul syllable workshop. Assemble a legal onset–nucleus–coda block before you memorize word lists. Tap choseong, jungseong, and optional jongseong tiles into three labeled wells. Illegal clusters vibrate, glow vermillion, and will not render a block. When the cluster is legal, the live inker morphs the three jamo into a correctly proportioned Hangul syllable, plays stroke order, and speaks a native audio clip. Toggle Revised Romanization or McCune–Reischauer whenever you want a latin cue. Practice with a seeded KO101 atelier stored on your device: 40 practice syllables, 24 batchim-legality cards, and 12 sound-change cases covering liaison, tensification, and coda neutralization. Train your ear in listening lineups. A native clip plays; pick the matching block from four lookalikes such as 가, 까, 카, and 갸. Feedback points to the well that fooled you. Use the batchim gate to decide which coda is allowed, which must double, and which is rewritten by 음절의 끝소리 규칙 before the block will stamp. Explore liaison on a morph board with tappable before/after pairs (꽃잎, 한국말, 입니다) that animate the spoken surface form—without a journal. Race a 90-second timed block sprint that scores accuracy, illegal-cluster penalties, and lookalike misses, then review a debrief of each well. Browse the jamo atlas for stroke diagrams, vowel-harmony notes, and TalkBack labels in English and Korean. A daily syllable widget and reminder keep practice nearby. Progress is mastery checks on seeded cards, not a study diary. Made for KO101 beginners, K-drama subtitle learners, heritage kids, and community-college Korean labs. High-contrast ink mode, large-tap wells, and optional device TTS when a recorded clip is missing. This is not a vocabulary diary, handwriting sandbox, or phrasebook. Compose a legal Hangul syllable, hear it, and beat the lookalikes.

What's new

Compose Hangul in three onset, nucleus, and coda wells. Illegal clusters shake, glow vermillion, and will not stamp a block. Watch live stroke-order inking, toggle RR/MR romanization, and hear native audio. Practice KO101 syllables, batchim gates, liaison morphs, lookalike listening, and a 90-second sprint—offline, with no study diary.
