Polylingo is an audio-first way to learn a language. Listen to original stories written for learners and narrated by natural voices, then read along as every word is highlighted. STORIES AT YOUR LEVEL Every story is tagged with a CEFR level, from A1 to C2, so you can find something that challenges you without losing you. Stories are also tagged by accent and region, so you can choose, for example, Spanish from Spain or from Mexico. 11 LANGUAGES English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Russian and Hindi. Translation runs on your device with Google ML Kit: language models download once, and the text you translate is not sent anywhere for translation. SAVE AND REVIEW PHRASES Save the words and phrases you want to keep, then review them with spaced repetition. CHECK YOUR UNDERSTANDING Some stories include a short comprehension practice. RATE AND REVIEW Rate stories and write reviews to help other learners choose what to hear next. You can report a story or a review, or hide an author, at any time. START IN A MINUTE Choose the language you are learning, your level and your interests, and your first story is free. No sign-up is needed to start. You can add an optional email account to keep your purchases across devices. EVERY STORY STARTS FREE Chapter 1 of every story is free to listen to and read, and the first story you start is free all the way to the end. Each chapter ends on a cliffhanger. To keep going past chapter 1, choose what suits you: • Story credits are one-time purchases, in packs of 1, 5, 10 or 20. One credit permanently unlocks the rest of one story. • The optional monthly membership gives you unlimited access to every story while your subscription is active. There is no free trial. SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION The Polylingo membership is an optional, auto-renewing monthly subscription. Payment is charged to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
