Soap Making Calculator

Artisan Soap Calculator is an offline tool for designing cold-process soap recipes with confidence. Build your formula oil by oil, set your preferences, and receive a clear weighing list for your next batch. Create multi-oil recipes and calculate the quantities of oils, NaOH, water, and fragrance. Adjust superfat and choose the water setting that suits your process: lye concentration, water-to-lye ratio, or water as a percentage of oils. The calculator updates the weighing list when your formula is valid and provides helpful warnings for values that need attention. Plan, organize, and revisit your work: - Save recipes locally on your device. - Search, open, duplicate, edit, and delete saved formulas. - Export, import, and share recipes as JSON files. - Browse an offline reference catalog with NaOH SAP, KOH SAP, and iodine values. - Add your own oils and their technical values to your personal library. - Save mold capacities to help plan batch sizes. - Use Workbench mode while preparing a batch. - Track curing batches, notes, start dates, and days remaining. Designed for makers who want a focused workshop companion, Artisan Soap Calculator works without an internet connection and does not require an account. Your recipes, molds, custom oils, and curing batches stay stored locally on your device. Safety first: this app is a formulation aid, not a substitute for training, accurate scales, verified raw-material data, or safe alkali-handling procedures. Always verify the SAP value and quality of every ingredient, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, work with adequate ventilation, and always add lye to water, never water to lye.
