NotesXML

PRIVATE. AD-FREE. YOURS. NotesXML is a local-first note-taking app from IWV Digital Solutions. Your notebooks live on your device as files you own - not in someone else's cloud. No account required, no ads of any kind, no tracking. Everything below, including the AI, runs entirely on your device and works offline. 25 NOTE TYPES Text, checklists, bullet and numbered lists, tables, drawings, code, quotes, photos and galleries, video, audio, file attachments, links, tasks and task lists, events and calendars, contacts, and more - all in one notebook. RECORD WHILE YOU WORK One Audio Capture button covers all recording. Record in the recorder, or choose Record in Background (Professional) to keep taking notes, drawing, or browsing while the recording continues in a floating bar - tap it any time to return, review, transcribe, and save. Dictation is separate and free on every tier: speak, and your words appear as text. ON-DEVICE AI - NO CLOUD Two bundled vision-capable AI models are free: Auto Title, Grammar Polish, Summarize, and Describe Image, all offline. Professional unlocks the full 10-model catalog (1B-31B), AI Chat with file analysis, Vision OCR, and page and notebook actions. Smart hardware detection picks what your device can run. Your notes are never sent anywhere. SPEECH, BOTH DIRECTIONS Offline voice transcription in 99 languages (clips up to 30 seconds free; unlimited with Professional). Natural read-aloud with six downloadable voices - have any note, page, or notebook read back to you. All offline. PDF, ANNOTATED View PDFs free. Professional adds fourteen annotation tools: pen, highlighter, sticky notes, shapes, stamps, text markup and more - annotations are saved into the PDF itself. PROTECTED AES-256 encryption you control. NotesXML never has your keys and never sees your data - we cannot read your notes, and neither can anyone else. FREE FOREVER, HONEST UPGRADE Free includes unlimited notebooks, all 25 note types, the bundled AI models, transcription clips, PDF viewing, import and export in every format, and 4 themes. A 14-day trial of all Professional features is included.
