Full description
IWT helps you follow interval walking training without staring at your phone. The app guides you through alternating fast and slow walking intervals using a large countdown timer, voice prompts, vibration, and lock-screen notifications. Start your walk, put the phone away, and let IWT tell you when to speed up, slow down, pause, resume, or finish. Built around the popular Japanese interval walking method, IWT defaults to 3 minutes fast pace plus 3 minutes slow pace for 5 cycles, creating a simple 30-minute session. You can adjust the fast interval, slow interval, number of cycles, and starting pace to match your walk. Key features: - Fast and slow walking interval timer - Default 3 min fast plus 3 min slow x 5 cycles - Voice cues for pace changes and workout completion - Works with screen locked and app in the background - Audio cues use media audio and briefly duck other playback - Haptic feedback at pace changes and completion - Lock-screen and notification shade session status - Large high-contrast countdown display - Fast pace in orange, slow pace in green - Simple settings with tappable duration and cycle selectors - First-run safety notice IWT is designed for walkers who want a clear, low-friction way to practice interval walking. It is a timer and cueing tool, not a medical device or personal trainer. Safety note: Interval walking involves physical activity. Use IWT at your own risk, stay aware of your surroundings, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, shortness of breath, or anything unusual. If you have health concerns, are pregnant, are recovering from injury, or are unsure whether interval walking is appropriate for you, consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting.

What's new

Fixed an issue where saved interval settings could reset after closing and reopening the app. Improved settings screen behavior on smaller devices.
