Ivory Nine

Ivory Nine is a quiet collection of fifty classic Sudoku puzzles. Each puzzle uses a nine-by-nine grid divided into nine smaller boxes. Fill the empty cells so that every row, every column and every three-by-three box contains the digits one through nine. Each puzzle is checked during generation and has exactly one solution. All fifty puzzles are available from the library without unlocking earlier ones. A CLEAR PLACE TO THINK An ivory paper background, restrained ink colors and a large board keep the focus on the numbers. Given digits cannot be changed. Tap an editable cell, then choose a digit from the number pad below the board. Your entries use a different color from the printed clues. The selected row and column are highlighted, helping you keep track of the part of the puzzle you are examining. NOTES THAT STAY WITH THE PUZZLE Switch NOTES on to add or remove small candidate digits inside an empty cell. Choosing a normal entry replaces that cell's notes. ERASE clears the selected editable cell, while UNDO reverses the last edit in the current session. Undo includes changes to pencil marks as well as entered numbers. The puzzle does not automatically decide which candidates to remove from neighboring cells; your notes remain a tool you control. CHECK A CONFLICT, ASK FOR HELP An entry turns red when it duplicates another number in its row, column or box. That highlights a rule conflict, rather than declaring that every unmarked number must be correct. If you want assistance, HINT fills a correct value in the selected unfinished cell, or another unfinished cell when necessary. The game records how many hints you have used and shows that count when you complete the puzzle. There is no time limit or penalty for taking a break. PICK UP YOUR NOTES Unfinished entries and pencil marks save automatically on the device. Continue opens the latest puzzle, and selecting an unfinished puzzle from the library restores its saved work. Undo history begins fresh after reopening. Completed puzzles are marked in the library; opening one again starts a clean version for another solve. A FAMILIAR MENU The main screen has Play, Settings, How to Play and Exit. Play contains Continue and the full stage collection. Completed stages are marked locally, and you are free to revisit them. Settings let you switch sound, haptic feedback and button animations on or off. The English interface uses touch controls, readable labels and original artwork created for this game. OFFLINE AND LOCAL No advertisements, purchases, account registration or internet connection are required. Progress and preferences belong to this installation and are saved on the device. Clearing the application's data removes those records. There are no online leaderboards or cloud saves. Choose a short attempt when you have a few minutes, or spend longer practicing a familiar stage at your own pace.
