Muxr

muxr puts your terminal multiplexer sessions on your phone — the real ones, still running on your own machine, exactly as you left them. You run the server. The app talks straight to it over TLS with a token you mint yourself. No account to create, no third-party relay in the middle. ATTACH TO WHAT'S ALREADY RUNNING • Live zellij or herdr sessions, with their panes, tabs and layouts intact • A real terminal: htop, Neovim, build logs, long-running coding agents • Your setup renders as-is — status bars, plugins, floating panes • Start new sessions, or a new tab, without reaching for a laptop BUILT FOR A THUMB • A panes-and-tabs drawer to jump anywhere in a session • Rename panes and tabs by holding a row; full-screen any single pane • Live latency readout, with reconnects handled for you • Nerd Fonts downloaded on demand, plus font size and cursor style • Bell notifications when something finishes CONNECT ON YOUR TERMS • TLS by default — pin your self-signed certificate's fingerprint, or trust a publicly signed or corporate CA • Pair by scanning the QR code from muxrctl: server, trust mode and token in one scan, or paste a token by hand • A bearer token per device, and read-only tokens for watching a session without being able to type into it • Stay signed in for four weeks, or sign in every time YOUR SERVER, YOUR KEYS The backend is open source: github.com/f0x-it-llc/muxr-core Install muxrd (the server) and muxrctl (its setup and pairing TUI) on any Linux or macOS host with a matching zellij install, a running herdr, or both — muxrd detects what's there and serves all of it. Run it directly with its own certificate, or behind a reverse proxy that terminates TLS for you.
