Is It Ripe takes a photo of the whole pile and marks the ones worth taking. POINT AT THE PILE, NOT ONE PIECE Photograph the display. You get numbered rings drawn on your own photo, GRAB on the best pick, and a plain-language reason for each one: buttery yellow field spot, matte rind, even colour, no sunken patches. Reasons you can check against the fruit in your hand, not a score out of ten. BUYING FOR THE WEEK It marks one for tonight and the ones a few days behind it for later, so the whole bag does not ripen on the same afternoon. And for fruit that never ripens after picking, like melons and grapes, it says so and tells you to buy it ready. THEN IT REMEMBERS Tap what you actually grabbed and it lands in My Kitchen with a live countdown: eat today, getting old, later this week. One tap when it is eaten or binned. Your trophy case counts what you rescued and the honest, rounded dollars you did not throw away. RIPENESS ALERTS A nudge when something should be ready, and another before it turns.
