Full description
Connect Six is the pure strategy game you can learn in a minute and think about for years. Place your stones on the board and be the first to line up six. THE WHOLE RULE Black places one stone to open. From the next turn on, each side places two stones per turn. Connect six or more of your stones in a row — horizontally, vertically or diagonally — and you win. That is the entire game. Two stones per turn is also what makes Connect Six fairer than five-in-a-row. In gomoku the first player is so far ahead that tournaments add forbidden moves and swap rules; Connect Six fixes it with one line — black opens with a single stone. Nothing else is needed. PLAY AGAINST A REAL AI Four levels. Easy is a friendly place to learn the shapes. Normal punishes loose moves. Hard looks ahead. Expert reads the threats one turn ahead and will not hand you the game. The AI runs on your device, so there is no waiting on a server. Choose your board before you start: 13×13, 15×15 or 19×19. A smaller board leaves fewer places to run, so threats meet sooner. 310 PUZZLES • Daily puzzle — one position a day, and a streak that survives a missed day • Puzzle rush — how many can you solve in three minutes • My mistakes — puzzles built from your own lost games, at the exact turn you missed the defence Three kinds: finish the line, stop the win coming next turn, or build a threat that cannot be blocked. 21 BADGES Bronze, silver and gold across seven families — win streaks, daily streaks, puzzles solved, rush scores, games played, wins against Hard and Expert, and winning on all three board sizes. TWO PLAYERS, ONE DEVICE Pass the phone. No AI, no account, no second install. SEE WHY YOU WON — OR LOST When a game ends the board stays right where it is, and the six stones that decided it are highlighted. Replay any finished game stone by stone, or take back your last turn while you are still playing. Stats keep your win rate, your streaks and your record at each level. EVERY MATCH IS KEPT Finished games go to your History with the final board, the result, the difficulty and how many turns it took. Up to 50 games, stored on your device only. NEVER MISPLACE A STONE Tap once to preview a stone, tap the same spot again to place it. Undo any selection before your turn is committed. Pinch to zoom into a crowded corner and drag to look around the board. NEW TO CONNECT SIX? There is a short illustrated page inside the app — the three ideas that are the whole game, why it is fairer than gomoku, and three things to try in your first match. DETAILS • Puzzles, badges, stats and a game already in progress all work offline. Starting a new game needs a connection • No account, no sign-up, no timers • Your game in progress saves itself. Close the app mid-turn and tap Continue later • Light and dark themes, both designed for the warm wooden board • Free to play, supported by ads. An ad can appear when you start a game — never in the middle of one

What's new

• Puzzles are up to 310. The daily one builds your streak, and a three-minute rush is new • We find the move you missed in a game you lost and turn it into a puzzle • 21 badges arrived. Win streaks and daily streaks open them in bronze, then silver, then gold • You can pick the board before you start: 13×13, 15×15 or 19×19 • A new illustrated page explains Connect Six to anyone playing it for the first time • A stone gives a small buzz when it is placed, so aiming and placing feel different
