InvSolar: Solar PV Calculator Live

InvSolar combines a sun position tracker with a solar PV calculator. For a selected location, date and time, explore the sun's position on a map, estimate optimal panel tilt and energy production, and configure PV strings, inverter charging and batteries. Use panel presets or enter your own specifications. Check string voltage, current and power, estimate cable voltage drop, and explore hourly, daily, monthly and yearly energy charts. SOLAR PANELS & STRINGS • Configure multiple strings with panel presets or custom specifications. • Check string voltage, current and power across the selected temperature range. • Estimate cable voltage drop and compare series and parallel panel arrangements. SUN POSITION & ENERGY • Choose a location on the map or enter its coordinates. • View sun elevation, azimuth, sunrise, sunset and other solar data for a selected date and time. • Estimate the optimal fixed panel tilt and solar irradiance on tilted panels. • Explore hourly, daily, monthly and yearly energy-production charts for individual strings or the whole system. • Export selected charts and their data to Excel. INVERTERS & BATTERIES • Plan single-phase systems, three separate single-phase inverters or a three-phase monoblock. • Use Deye and Victron presets or enter custom inverter parameters. • Estimate battery capacity, charging and discharge currents, charging time and AC/DC cable sizes. • For Deye and custom inverters, compare charging from the grid, PV or both within the configured limits. InvSolar provides planning estimates, not live equipment monitoring or measured weather data. Check equipment specifications, installation conditions and local electrical rules before making installation decisions. Some advanced features require the PRO version.
