Full description
Give a little robot duck a place on your home screen. MiDuck is an Android live wallpaper app with a companion that chooses its own activities. Depending on its surroundings, Duck wanders, explores, plays with a ball or takes a rest. In suitable scenes, it can go for a little skate. You do not need to select its next animation. Say hello in your own way Tap to respond, double-tap to invite Duck, or hold to keep it company. Cartoon speech bubbles give the character a voice as it continues its day. Home-screen gesture availability depends on your launcher; the in-app companion space offers the full interaction experience. Make a small world for your companion Choose a setting, adjust Duck's size and position, and select balanced, battery-saving or reduced-motion display preferences. You can turn touch responses off and let Duck act on its own. Some environments unlock through local progression. Keep your companionship on your device Name your duck, record discoveries, and occasionally join its ball-passing mini-game. Nicknames, progress and settings stay on your device. There are no accounts, ads, analytics SDKs or cloud synchronization. Set it through Android Confirm the live wallpaper in the Android system preview. Wallpaper playback pauses when it is not visible or the screen is off, and resumes when visible again. Lock-screen options depend on your device. The character is inspired by Pollen Robotics' Microduck. Published by ABLEAUDIO, MiDuck is a virtual companion and does not connect to or control a physical robot. Dialogue consists of preset local lines. The app supports English and Simplified Chinese and follows the system language. On Android 13 or later, you can select a language just for MiDuck. The default name appears as Mido in English and its Chinese counterpart in Chinese. Android 8.0 or later and live wallpaper support are required. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes local companion progress.

What's new

Full English support for the interface, Duck dialogue, help and in-app policies. The default name appears as Mido in English, with progress preserved. Supports Android per-app language settings on Android 13 and later. Improved word wrapping in speech bubbles and layouts on smaller screens.
