Degrees, percent, roof pitch (6/12) or inches per foot. Lay the phone flat for a bubble level • Roofers: a roof pitch finder in the level. Tap Measure and stand the phone on its long side on the roof. It reads the pitch and takes the photo, with the pitch on a label you can move (roofs up to 12/12) • Then step back for a second photo: the spot in a box, the close-up in the corner • Slope works on a floor too • Plumb: hold the phone upright, long side on the stud or post.
