Emails: Email & Inbox

Emails is an Android email app for managing existing, compatible IMAP and SMTP mailboxes. Add an account with your email address and password or an app-specific password where your provider requires one. Emails discovers supported server settings and checks incoming and outgoing connections before saving the account. It does not create a new email address. Bring up to two accounts together in a unified inbox, or switch to an individual mailbox and its folders. See unread and starred messages, open a conversation, mark mail read or unread, star it, and move it to a folder supported by your provider. Compose, save drafts, send, reply, reply to all and forward. Attach files and open or save received attachments. Search downloaded messages on your device. For compatible IMAP inboxes, you can also start a separate server search when you need to look beyond the local cache. Recent messages are kept in an encrypted local cache for reading when the network is unavailable. A device screen lock can protect access to the app. Optional new-mail notifications use a generic preview, and background sync depends on Android scheduling and your mail provider. Emails connects directly to your mail provider for ordinary mail operations. Provider support, server search and folder actions depend on the account's settings and capabilities.
