L'Institut national d'excellence en santé et en services sociaux (INESSS) a pour mission de promouvoir l'excellence clinique et l'utilisation efficace des ressources dans le secteur de la santé et des services sociaux. Au cœur de cette mission, l'Institut évalue notamment les avantages cliniques et les coûts des technologies, des médicaments et des modes d'intervention en santé et en services sociaux. Il émet des recommandations quant à leur adoption, leur utilisation ou leur couverture par le régime public, et élabore des guides de pratique clinique afin d'en assurer l'usage optimal. L'INESSS a réalisé une série de produits dont cette application regroupe divers guides d'usage optimal et outils de soutien clinique destinés aux cliniciens afin de les soutenir et les orienter dans leur pratique.
