STAT – Indoor Air Technologies

STAT is the field app Indoor Air Technologies gives its HVAC technicians. Accounts are set up by Indoor Air Technologies for its own staff and for outside technicians it works with. There is no public sign-up. ASK ABOUT ANY UNIT Type a question the way you would ask a coworker, with the model number if you have it. STAT finds the manufacturer's manual in a library of more than 307,000 documents from 149 brands, reads the right pages and writes a short answer. An answer from the library names the manual and page it came from, and one tap opens that page so you can check it yourself. If you allow it, answers are written by Claude, Anthropic's AI (or OpenAI's GPT when Claude is unavailable); if you don't, STAT's own model writes them. When the library has nothing, STAT says so, and anything it finds online is clearly labelled as coming from the web. FAULT CODES Pick the brand, type the code, and STAT opens the manual page that explains it, with the factory table or chart rather than a summary. 38 CALCULATORS Superheat and subcooling, target superheat, pressure-temperature, airflow and duct, gas and combustion, electrical, water loops and more. They work with no signal. TRAINING Courses at every level, quizzes, and practice exams for EPA 608 (Core, Type I, Type II and Type III) and BPI. Supervisors sign off field skills as you earn them. FOR INDOOR AIR STAFF • Job checklists that turn into a clean report for the customer • On-call schedule and time-off requests • The company phone book, with one tap to call or text • Truck stock counts BUILT FOR THE FIELD • Take a photo of a nameplate and STAT reads the model and serial for you • Serial number decoder for equipment age • Screens you have opened stay available with weak or no signal • Notifications for the things you choose Outside technicians get the tech-help side: Ask, fault codes, calculators, training and the manufacturer tech lines.
