SkyNav

SkyNav: Tactical Aviation HUD & Flight Telemetry SkyNav is a high-performance, offline-capable flight tracking dashboard engineered specifically for aviation enthusiasts, pilots, and high-altitude travelers. Built to bypass the bloated interfaces of standard consumer mapping apps, SkyNav communicates directly with your device's GPS hardware to deliver real-time, zero-latency flight metrics straight to your screen. Whether you are monitoring a commercial flight from a window seat, flying a light aircraft, or conducting aerial surveys, SkyNav provides a professional, avionics-grade layout. The high-contrast, pitch-black UI is designed to preserve night vision in dark cockpits, while the core telemetry engine calculates crucial flight data entirely off-grid. ✈️ CORE FEATURES • Real-Time Flight Telemetry: Instantly read your Ground Speed (km/h), Absolute Altitude (m), Bearing, and precise GPS Coordinates without requiring an active cellular connection. • Vertical Speed Indicator (VSI): Monitor your exact rate of climb or descent (m/s) with color-coded visual alerts (Green for ascending, Red for descending) to track altitude changes at a glance. • Live Flight Path Mapping: An integrated, offline-capable mapping engine renders your live position, leaving a geographic breadcrumb trail of your exact flight route as you move. • Altitude Calibration (Zero Alt): Calibrate your altimeter to ground level before takeoff with a single tap, allowing you to easily track your exact Relative Altitude (AGL) during the flight. • Session Maximums: Automatically records and displays your maximum speed and peak altitude during your current session, with a quick-reset function for new legs of your journey. • Tactical Dark Mode: A strict, battery-efficient dark layout utilizing high-visibility neon greens, cyans, and oranges inspired by professional cockpit instrumentation. 🌍 100% OFFLINE CAPABLE SkyNav’s core telemetry engine runs entirely on native device math and hardware GPS radio signals. Once your map tiles are cached, you can track your entire flight with your phone in airplane mode (with GPS enabled) or in areas with zero cellular reception. 🔒 PRIVACY FIRST Your flight data belongs to you. SkyNav does not require an account, does not track your personal identity, and never uploads your location data to external servers. All telemetry is processed locally right on your device. Built for precision. Engineered for the skies.
