BackPlaner

Anyone who wants to bake several things on the same day — a sourdough loaf, flatbread for dinner, maybe a pizza too — knows the problem: each bake has its own sequence of preferment, resting, kneading, proofing and baking. Keeping track of what's due when, by hand, goes wrong fast. That's exactly what Backplaner solves. You decide which bakes you want that day and when they should be done — the app works backwards and shows every step of every bake in a single, chronologically sorted overview. Colour bars show at a glance which step belongs to which bake. Move one step, and every later time for that bake shifts with it automatically. What Backplaner does: • Time several bakes in parallel, with one chronological overview • Create recipes with as many steps and ingredients as you like • Scale ingredient amounts automatically to the number of pieces you need • Calculate dough yield (TA) — for anyone working with sourdough • Automatic oven-preheat reminder, timed to when you'll actually need it • Local reminders for every step, even with the phone locked • Add photos to any recipe • Export the session as a PDF — overview and ingredient list, ready to print • Share recipes by email — the recipient just taps the attachment, done • Full backup of all recipes, photos and sessions Everything stays on your device. Backplaner doesn't send anything to its own servers, and there's no tracking and no ads. Backplaner is available in German, English, French and Spanish.
