This application offers a reading approach based on Rapid Serial Visual Presentation (RSVP), a technique studied in cognitive psychology that presents text sequentially in order to reduce eye movements and simplify visual information processing. In traditional reading, the eyes perform numerous movements and successive fixations. These micro-movements are a normal part of the reading process, but they also involve attentional load and fragmentation of information. RSVP explores an alternative by minimizing these visual transitions. The goal of this approach is to enable more continuous reading by reducing interruptions related to tracking text across a page. Content is displayed at a user-controlled pace, allowing the reading speed to be adjusted according to comfort level and reading purpose. This method is particularly useful in contexts where focus needs to be optimized or when quickly browsing through texts while maintaining a certain level of comprehension. The application supports EPUB files, allowing direct use with personal digital books. Users can import their content, adjust reading speed, and tailor the experience to their needs. The interface has been designed to remain minimalistic in order to limit distractions and keep attention focused on the content. This first version focuses on three main elements: display stability, reading fluidity, and pacing customization.
