Full description
Entry Interview Alerts — Hear when an interview slot opens at the centre you chose. After conditional approval you book an interview at an enrolment centre, and the nearest free date can be far away. Slots open when others cancel or when a centre releases more. This app checks CBP's public slot list for the centre you chose and tells you when a date inside your window opens. This app never signs in, never asks for your PASSID, membership number, passport number or date of birth, and NEVER BOOKS, HOLDS OR CANCELS AN APPOINTMENT. It reads the same public slot list you can open in a browser without signing in, and tells you when an appointment opens. You book it yourself, on CBP's own site. WHAT IT DOES • Pick your programme — Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI or FAST — and the enrolment centre you can actually travel to • Choose how far ahead counts as news: 7, 30 or 90 days • Already booked? Only slots before your current appointment date count • Get told when that centre goes from nothing free to an appointment inside your window, with the date and how far away it is • Alerts from several centres are grouped under one summary in your notification shade • A home-screen widget shows the nearest open slot and when it was last checked • Cheapest source we read: 191 bytes a check, and the app shows you the running total HOW YOU SET IT UP You create one watch — for example “Global Entry, JFK, within 30 days” — and close the app. At the interval you choose it checks interview appointment availability at enrolment centres; when an interview appointment opens your phone gets a notification. It never tells you about the same thing twice. If checking breaks (server down, page changed) it says so instead of dying quietly. Settings shows how many bytes each check costs. Light and dark theme. WHO IT IS FOR Travellers waiting on a Trusted Traveler interview, and the families and assistants chasing one for them. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • It does NOT book, hold or cancel an appointment. It points you at CBP's own site; you book there yourself. • It does NOT sign in and never asks for your PASSID, membership number, passport number or date of birth. • There is no account to open: no sign-up screen, no password and no e-mail to confirm. • The developer collects no personal data and runs no server; Google's ad SDK collects IP, interactions, diagnostics and device IDs. • Ads keep the free tier free — six formats in total: banner, interstitial, rewarded, rewarded interstitial, app open and an “Ad”-labelled card in your watch list. Launch is never interrupted by an interstitial, and every rewarded interstitial starts with a skippable intro. Paying removes all of them, request included. • Nothing of it stays pinned to your notification shade. WHICH CENTRES Every operational enrolment centre CBP publishes for Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI and the two FAST programmes. The list is read from CBP each time, so a centre that closes disappears from the app too. PRIVACY Everything about the enrolment centres you follow stays on this phone. The developer runs no server, so there is nowhere for it to be sent. Permissions requested: network state, internet, notifications, letting the ads library tell Wi-Fi from mobile data, restarting watches after a reboot, vibration, keeping the phone awake while a check runs, buying a paid membership through Google Play and ads in the free tier. LIMITS — honestly • Android may delay background checks to save battery. The interval you pick is a target, not a guarantee. • Very frequent checking is deliberately limited out of respect for the CBP appointment scheduler. Where the data comes from: the public appointment endpoint at ttp.cbp.dhs.gov — the same list the official scheduler page shows before you sign in. Entry Interview Alerts is an independent app. It is not developed, endorsed or supported by U.S. Customs and Border Protection or any Trusted Traveler programme. Contact: [email protected]

What's new

• New: enter your current appointment date and only openings on earlier days are reported. • New: a home-screen widget shows the nearest open slot at your centres and when it was last checked. • Watch and check results appear above the ad strip; a late-loading ad card no longer shifts the screen. • Update and rating windows no longer overlap; no full-screen ad loads when memory is low. • Changing the language keeps you on the same tab; for paid members the ads SDK no longer starts at launch.
