HydraScan: Hidden Camera Scan

HydraScan is a privacy-protection utility designed for travelers. Whether you are staying in a hotel room, vacation rental, or shared office, HydraScan helps you check your surroundings for hidden cameras and unknown tracking tags. HydraScan turns your phone's sensors into five complementary detectors to cover different physical channels: - Network Audit: Detects your current Wi-Fi subnet and sweeps for live devices. It checks ports typically opened by cameras (such as RTSP, HTTP, ONVIF) and identifies hardware vendors using an offline database. (Works only on the network you are currently connected to). - Wi-Fi Air Scan: Lists all Wi-Fi access points in range, including hidden networks, and flags camera-like factory network names. - BLE Radar: Listens to Bluetooth Low Energy advertising packets to recognize tracker tags. It intelligently distinguishes a tracker separated from its owner from a device simply nearby. - Optics Finder: Uses your phone's camera and a torch strobe to detect retroreflective camera lenses and night-vision LEDs. Nothing is recorded or saved. - Magnetic Detector: Measures the background magnetic field and shows deviations near objects. - Room Guide: A free checklist of typical hiding places to guide your physical search. Important Limits: No app can guarantee a room is perfectly clean. A camera that emits no signals, shows no lens, and is switched off cannot be detected by any phone app. Privacy & Monetization: Everything runs completely on your device. There are no ads, no external servers, no analytics, and no account required. You can use each scanning module once for free. Note: Wi-Fi scanning requires the Android location permission because the system mandates it to provide the network list. HydraScan never reads, stores, or transmits your actual location.
