Hunt-A-Moose

Hunt-A-Moose is the mapping app built by a hunter, for moose hunters. Stop guessing. Our maps are based on official Quebec eco-forestry data and a scientific Habitat Suitability Index (HSI) methodology, enriched with several additional variables, to reveal where moose feed, rest, and travel. WORKS OFFLINE, ANYWHERE No signal needed in the field. Your maps and GPS position work deep in the forest, far from any cell tower. TRACK YOUR POSITION IN REAL TIME A precise blue dot shows where you are, with coordinates (DD, DMS, Maidenhead), a compass, and multiple orientation modes. RECORD YOUR TRACKS Record your movements, even with the screen off and the phone in your pocket. Find your way back, measure distances, and keep a history of your outings. MARK YOUR SPOTS Drop waypoints with photos: fresh browse, a yard, a wallow, your blind. Find them again, season after season. YOUR MAPS, ALWAYS READY The built-in store gives you access to over 1,200 maps covering Quebec's hunting territories. The right map loads automatically based on where you are. AN AREA WITH NO MAP? REQUEST IT Hunting in an area that isn't covered yet? Request a map right from the app, and we'll work on producing it. YOUR DATA IS YOURS Your location stays on your device. No ads, no trackers, no selling your data. What's yours stays yours. Whether you're planning your season from home or following a track at first light, Hunt-A-Moose puts science and precision on your side. Happy hunting. 🦌
