HourProof

Prove material participation. Protect your tax deductions. HourProof is the definitive tool for STR and LTR property owners who need to document material participation hours — the IRS-required standard that lets you deduct rental losses against ordinary income. Why HourProof? The IRS requires 750 hours of material participation for Long-Term Rentals and 100 hours for Short-Term Rentals. Without contemporaneous records, those deductions vanish under audit. HourProof builds your audit-proof log in minutes a day. --- Key Features AI-Assisted Logging Describe your activity in plain language — HourProof extracts the category, duration, and description automatically. No manual data entry. Voice Input Speak your activities hands-free. Perfect for logging time while you're still on-site. Multi-Property Management Track hours across any number of STR and LTR properties. Group properties together for consolidated reporting. Real-Time Goal Tracking See your progress toward the 750-hr or 100-hr threshold at a glance. Know where you stand before year-end, not after.
