Full description
KinAlert turns the phones in your home into a private emergency alert network. Designed as a reliable caregiver tool and local panic button, one tap sends a Medical, Fire, Security, or General alert to every other device on the same Wi-Fi, triggering an instant full-screen alarm with sound and vibration. IMPORTANT: KinAlert is a local coordination tool for household safety, not a replacement for emergency services. In a life-threatening situation, always call your local emergency number first. HOW IT WORKS - Install the app on each family phone connected to the same local Wi-Fi. - Devices discover each other automatically—no account creation, no sign-ups, and no pairing codes. - Tap an alert type or a custom home-screen widget to immediately raise the alarm. - The sender is shown exactly when each alert was delivered, accepted, or dismissed. KEY FEATURES - Four distinct alert categories: Medical, Fire, Security, and General emergency alerts. - Full-screen alerts with loud sound and vibration, engineered to display over the lock screen. - Delivery acknowledgements: track in real-time who has seen, accepted, or dismissed the alert. - Home-screen widgets: configure one-tap buttons for rapid, instant activation. - Optional network passcode so alerts from unknown devices on the router are completely ignored. - Dark and light themes, an interactive device list with live status, supporting Android 7.0 and up. - 100% Private: no external servers, no cloud storage, no ads, no data collection, and no internet required. Perfect for secure, offline elderly monitoring and family safety. REQUIREMENTS - All devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network; guest networks with client isolation are not supported. - Notification permissions and the "display over other apps" permission are mandatory for full-screen emergency alerts. - For reliable delivery while phones are idle or locked, allow the app to run without battery restrictions. Delivery depends entirely on local device power settings and your Wi-Fi router. Always run a test alert immediately after setup and keep the app updated on every phone. Support: [email protected]

What's new

Simplified permissions release. - Removed a special notification permission; full-screen alerts on the lock screen work exactly as before - Setup now asks for fewer permissions - Tapping an alert notification opens the full alert screen Not a replacement for emergency services.
