Full description

Daedalus is the safety and operations system for professional guides, instructors and trip leaders responsible for people in demanding terrain. Plan the trip, run a safety check that adapts to the trip type, keep track of participants and emergency contacts, and keep a clear SOS function on hand when something happens. All in one app — built for the field, not the office. KEY FEATURES • Trips: create, activate and complete trips with route, location and details — 19 trip types • Safety check: structured pre-departure checklist, with dedicated items for mountain, kayak, river, group activities and arctic trips • Participants: names, phone numbers and emergency contacts per trip • SOS: fast alert with GPS coordinates when it matters • Event log: near-accidents, injuries, weather changes, equipment failure and route changes • Reports: summary and PDF report on completed trips • Map: routes, hazard markers and meeting points — plus a practice mode where nothing is saved • Weather and avalanche forecasts: conditions where you plan • Equipment: vehicles, dog teams and guide certifications per trip • Norwegian and English SOLO OR ORGANIZATION Solo fits the independent guide. The Organization plan adds a web command centre for the operations manager: live position on a map, return countdown, alarm acknowledgement and compliance reports. Position sharing happens while the app is open and the trip is active. SUBSCRIPTION Daedalus Solo: NOK 229/month with a 14-day free trial. The subscription renews automatically and can be cancelled anytime in Google Play. The Organization plan is ordered at daedalus-app.no. Privacy and account deletion are handled in the app. Terms and privacy: daedalus-app.no

What's new

Fixes since 1.4.2. Subscriptions are now recognised. If you already subscribe, the app no longer offers you the same subscription, and your profile shows whether it is active. The check also waits until you are fully signed in, so an active subscription is not misread at start-up. Temperature, wind speed and the Kp index now use a comma in Norwegian. Certifications appear in Norwegian in the trip report. Organisation admins can edit their organisation's name.
