Bow Wow Dog Battle loại bỏ mọi yếu tố chạy nhảy rườm rà, tập trung hoàn toàn vào nghệ thuật... "chửi nhau bằng tiếng chó". Hai người chơi sẽ đứng hai bên màn hình, sủa đối mặt nhau như những trận đấu hiphop battle thực thụ. Cơ chế "Khẩu chiến" bằng giọng nói: Sủa nhanh (Tap Bark): Sủa những tiếng ngắn, liên tục để bắn ra các sóng âm nhỏ, cấu rỉa giáp tinh thần của đối thủ. Gầm gừ tích lực (Growl Charge): Giữ giọng trầm, gầm gừ liên tục trong micro để tích tụ một phát sủa "Đại Bác" (Mega Bark) gây sát thương cực lớn. Kháng cự (Whine): Khi đối thủ sủa quá to, bạn phải tạo ra tiếng ăng ẳng (tiếng chó khóc) đúng nhịp để giảm sát thương nhận vào. Thanh Trạng Thái "Hết Sức Bình Tĩnh": Thay vì thanh máu (HP) thông thường, game sử dụng thanh "Độ Tự Tin" (Confidence Bar). Chú chó nào bị sủa áp đảo, thanh này tụt về 0 sẽ rơi vào trạng thái "cụp đuôi chạy mất" và thua cuộc. Chế độ Đua Top "Giữ Sạch Khu Phố": Đọ sủa với Chó Cỏ Đầu Ngõ (PvE): Vượt qua các con trùm từ chú Poodle chảnh chọe, Becgie nghiêm túc cho đến "Trùm cuối" Pitbull xăm trổ.
