Snubwise: Dog Training & Care Live

Snubwise is a training and health companion for owners of flat-faced (brachycephalic) dogs - Bulldogs, French Bulldogs (Frenchies), Pugs and similar breeds prone to breathing difficulty (BOAS, brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome). Snubwise is not a medical device and does not give veterinary advice; it is a training planner and diary that records what you enter and does not diagnose, monitor or treat any condition. TRAINING PLANS A library of short, reward-based training plans built for flat-faced dogs: loose-lead walking, recall, settle/calm, harness acclimatisation (a harness is used throughout, never a collar, following RSPCA guidance for flat-faced breeds), crate and alone-time, basic cues (sit, down, wait, leave) and car travel calm. Every plan runs as a step-by-step session with a picture per step, a target duration, rest prompts and a "stop if" line, and carries a heat guard: enter today's temperature and see published guidance on exercising flat-faced dogs safely in warm weather. Training methods follow Dogs Trust's reward-based approach; no aversive method appears anywhere in the app. Your own progress (sessions done, dates, notes) is tracked per plan. BREATHING LOG A 60-second tap counter, or type a count you took yourself, with the seconds it was counted over always stored alongside it. A readable history and chart of your own recorded counts over time. A symptom log based on the signs listed on the PDSA's own BOAS page (noisy breathing, snoring, disrupted sleep, excessive panting at rest, exercise intolerance, struggling in heat, difficulty eating), plus a red-flag reminder, quoting PDSA guidance, on when to contact a vet. CARE ROUTINES Fold and hygiene routines you set up yourself, with your own frequency, and a record of when each was last done. VET-VISIT SUMMARY A one-page summary of recent breathing counts, symptoms, routines and training sessions, printable or saveable as a PDF straight from your phone or browser for an appointment. ASK SNUBWISE An AI assistant (built on Claude, from Anthropic) you can ask training and care questions, or ask to write a plan from your own goal ("stop pulling on the lead", "calm in the car"). It clearly refuses to diagnose your dog, interpret a breathing count, or give a safety threshold - for anything about health or breathing, it tells you to contact your vet. A written plan is labelled as written by AI and should be checked with your vet or trainer. PRIVACY Everything you enter is stored on your device. Snubwise has no account, no sign-in and no ads. When you use Ask Snubwise or Generate a plan, your question, your dog's name, breed and age, and your plan progress are sent to HJS's server and on to Anthropic to generate a reply; this is not used to identify you and no chat is stored on the server. Every other feature works fully offline. You can export your data as a file at any time using your device's own share sheet. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO Snubwise is not veterinary advice and does not diagnose, monitor or treat any condition. It records exactly what you enter and does not interpret it, score it, or tell you whether a reading or a temperature is safe.
