Full description
Histoflux tells the stories behind history and science as short animated films. Each one is drawn in ink on paper and narrated out loud, and the drawing is animated to the voice. Watch Hannibal close the trap at Cannae. Follow the street map that stopped a cholera outbreak in Soho. There is a film on the gear train that counted out eclipses two thousand years ago, and one on the shadow of a stick that gave the size of the Earth. Every film runs two to three minutes. There are no presenters and no stock footage, just clear drawing and a narrator who explains things plainly. WHAT'S INSIDE - Films across history, battles, science, geopolitics and literature, with a new one most mornings - A new film most mornings - Captions that follow the narration word by word - Comments where you can argue the details, and laurels for the good ones - Dark mode, for reading at night - No ads.
