HippoCampus

An all-in-one learning app that generates a full course on anything you want to learn and makes sure you remember it forever. Would you rather pay a monthly subscription to some other app that only teaches one specific thing, or would you rather pay the same amount for an app that can teach you nearly anything? Features: - Generate personalized courses on any subject you want - Generate courses from book chapters. Use the in-app book pages workflow to take a photo of each page of a chapter. The app will create lessons and review material so that you remember more of what you read. - Generate courses that use images as prompts. For example, generate a course for recognizing every country's flag, or generate a course to recognize type of flowers. The possibilities are endless. - Generate geography courses. Use an intuitive map interface to tap a selected country or province. Learn every country's location on the map or every province in a country or even every DISTRICT in a province. - Answer questions using your voice and answer in your own words. No need for exact, word-for-word answers. - No multiple choice. Other apps give the illusion of learning by providing you with options. Real learning comes from generating the answer yourself. - Automated spaced repetition ensures that each question comes back right around the time you are about to forget it. The hippocampus is the part of the brain that converts short-term memories into long-term ones. The HippoCampus app was designed to aid in this process. Of the information you absorb once, only 5% is retained in the long term memory. By using spaced repetition and other proven techniques, you can teach yourself faster and more efficiently. Easily generate courses and quizzes tailored to your interests and needs. There are plenty of learning apps out there, but they all suffer from the same problem: The courses available are limited to those the app creator deemed important enough to take the time to create. What if I want to learn about Canadian History or Native American History or Mongolian History? What if I want a course on the Monarch Butterfly? What if I simply want to quickly capture a random fact I heard during the day? With HippoCampus, you can generate quality courses on whatever subject you want, no matter how obscure or esoteric. But here's the best part: You won't just be quizzed once. You'll be quizzed at intervals determined by the latest developments in cognitive science and the science of learning. Retrieval practice has been proven to be far more effective than simply re-reading. Spend 15-30 minutes a day on this app and you'll be amazed at how much information you retain.
