HexaCrop

HexaCrop is the companion app for the HexaCrop pump controller — a three-phase DOL controller that fits inside your existing starter panel and watches your motor while you are somewhere else. This app is not useful on its own. It needs a HexaCrop controller installed at your pump. WHAT YOU CAN SEE - Live voltage and current on each phase, R, Y and B - Whether the pump is running, stopped, or held off by a fault - Run timer, battery level and signal strength - A timestamped history of faults, power cuts, cyclic runs and manual operation WHAT YOU CAN DO - Start and stop the pump from anywhere with a network - Set schedules — one-off, or the same time on chosen days of the week - Run the pump in cycles: on for a while, off for a while, so a well with a slow recovery has time to refill - Switch between two pumps on the same panel - Set the protection thresholds to suit your motor WHAT THE CONTROLLER WATCHES FOR The protection runs on the controller itself, not in this app, so it keeps working when the phone is off, the network is down, or the app is closed. - Dry run — the well has emptied and the pump is turning without water - Overload — the motor is pulling more current than it should - Phase loss — one of the three phases has dropped out - Phase imbalance — a phase lost while the motor was already turning, which voltage alone cannot detect - High and low voltage — the supply has moved outside a safe range - Power cut — an SMS when the supply goes, and another when it returns When something trips, the pump is stopped and you are told the reason, in the app and by SMS. The SMS arrives over the controller's own SIM, so it reaches you even when there is no internet. NO ACCOUNT, NO PASSWORD Pair the app with your controller by scanning the QR code printed on it, or over Bluetooth during setup. There is no sign-up, no password to remember and no account to lose. Every paired phone sees the same live status. WORKS ON SIM OR WIFI The controller has a 4G SIM built in and uses WiFi when it is available. With no network at all it carries on protecting the pump on its own, and the app catches up on the history once it reconnects. A NOTE ON PROTECTION Protection lowers risk. It does not replace correct wiring, a properly sized starter, or regular maintenance. Have a licensed electrician install your panel and check it from time to time.
