No account · no ads · no data collection. If Android system backup is on, your ledger is backed up to your own Google account so it survives a reinstall (encrypted by Android; the developer cannot see it). You can turn this off in device settings; the captured payment-notification queue is excluded. Location is used only to pick the currency and is not stored. The country name comes from the Android geocoder, which may send coordinates off the device through the OS (on devices with Google services). Turning auto-detect off stops this call. Exchange-rate lookups send only the currency code (e.g. USD) and the transaction date. Amounts, merchants and notes are never sent.
