Lottery Utility - microPuppies

You will not win the lottery. Statistically, a ticket is worth less than it costs. What you do get is the daydream: the days between buying a ticket and the draw, spent deciding what you would do with the money. Lottery Utility treats that daydream as the thing you are buying, and helps you get more of it for your money. It scores every upcoming UK draw in microPuppies: a measure of how much daydream a ticket buys per pound. The score rises with the size of the jackpot and with the time left before the draw, and falls with the ticket price. So a big jackpot three days away scores far higher than the same jackpot an hour before the draw closes. WHAT IT DOES • Shows the next draw for Lotto, EuroMillions, Thunderball, Set For Life and Powerball, each with its jackpot and its score. • Sends you an alert when a draw clears a line you set yourself, so you do not have to keep an eye on the lottery. • Forecasts how each jackpot would grow if it keeps rolling over, and tells you roughly how many draws until it would alert you. • Shows the last three months of draws, so you can see how often a jackpot really gets that high. • Lets you keep a log of the plays you record, with what you spent and the average score of what you bought. • Explains every number. Tap a draw to see exactly what drives its score. MAKE IT YOURS The same jackpot is not worth the same to everyone. If you like, you can tell the app roughly what you are worth, how quickly the thrill wears off after you play, and how much a bigger jackpot matters to you, and the scores and alerts adjust to match. WHAT IT IS NOT This app is independent. It has no affiliation with The National Lottery, Allwyn, or any lottery operator. It sells nothing, holds no money and cannot enter you into any draw. To buy a ticket it sends you to the operator's own website or app. It cannot improve your odds of winning, and does not claim to. For adults only. You must be 18 or over to play the lottery in the UK. If gambling stops being a bit of fun, GamCare is on 0808 8020 133.
