Hedgehog

Introducing Hedgehog—the app that gives you the curated top news stories of the day, a content feed with your interests in mind, and real conversations with a real community of people. The best part? You’ll be part of an exclusive group that is in the driver’s seat, guiding the conversation and helping to keep the bad guys out. Get the news you want, with the people you like, all in one place. At Hedgehog, everyone belongs. (Except jerks. You can kick out jerks.) EXPERT CONTENT Stay updated on the latest headlines in a fun and engaging way. The twist? Hedgehog’s Editorial team works with the community to source top articles, with adjusted titles and images to make the news more approachable and interesting. Find out what you want to know without all the noise. (An ad or two, sure, but nothing obnoxious!) COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT Hedgehog strives to bring people together—one interesting, insightful conversation at a time. Hedgehog was designed with a community-first mentality, using an invite-only approach. This helps limit membership to those who are motivated to build a genuine community, keeping the spammers, scammers, and bad guys out. The more Members participate on the platform, the more invitations they can send out. PRIVACY-FOCUSED CHATROOMS To join a chatroom, all you need to do is comment on an article or a post. Then, bam—you’re in. Trolls be warned: you can be removed at any time by the other members of the chat. Easily track all of your conversations in one place—each discussion represents a different chat room you’ve joined. And get ready for no-regrets chatting—conversations delete automatically after about 30 days, so even if you’ve changed your mind about something, chat away, worry-free. USER EMPOWERMENT Contributors guide the conversation on Hedgehog, with the power to post to the Feed - text, images, links, audio, video and headlines. Becoming a contributor lets you help set the tone of the platform and spark the dialog that makes Hedgehog great. NEWS AUDIO When you can’t keep your eyes on the news, keep your ears on it. Listen to articles and updates when you’re on the go with a crisp, easy-to-use audio player. REACTIONS With a wide range of reactions—not just a thumbs up or thumbs down—you can express your opinion with just one click. Your honest reaction will be anonymous to everyone except the person who posted the article. GET NOTIFICATIONS Get notified immediately when someone tags, comments on, or reacts in a conversation you’re part of. Download Hedgehog today and start building your community now.
