Nightstand

Nightstand invites you to turn each moment of gratitude into a soothing, visual ritual. Your grateful thoughts become tiny pastel glass beads that you drop into a clear vase resting on a warm wooden nightstand. To capture a memory, open the Add screen, pick the date, write down what you are thankful for, and choose a mood emoji like grateful, peaceful, or loved. Pressing the Drop Bead button saves your entry instantly and plays a gentle animation of a new bead settling inside the vase. The Vase tab serves as your personal dashboard, where the growing collection of glossy beads visually represents your practice and a softly backlit wooden plaque shows your total entries along with this week’s count. Each bead holds its own soft gradient of pink, mint, or lavender, so the vase fills with quiet color without any numbers or labels cluttering the glass. You can revisit every past entry in the History tab, where a chronological list displays the date, your mood emoji, and a snippet of your words. Tapping any entry allows you to edit or delete it, and a simple swipe removes an entry you no longer want to keep. A built-in search bar helps you find specific words across all your grateful moments. When you need inspiration, the Prompts tab offers twenty gentle reflection questions on pastel cards, like “What made you smile today?” or “A person who helped you this week.” All your data stays securely on your device using local storage, so your gratitude practice remains completely private and works perfectly offline without any accounts or sign‑ins. The navigation itself feels grounding, with four smooth river stones etched with icons for Vase, Add, History, and Prompts that lift and glow softly under your fingertips. Nightstand transforms your daily mindfulness into a tangible, ever-growing keepsake that becomes more beautiful with every bead you add.
