Haylio - Chat with strangers

Haylio lets you chat with strangers without the awkward start. You don't need a photo, a phone number or your real name. Reply to something someone said, and the conversation begins. Most stranger chat apps drop you into "hi", "hey", "asl?". Haylio starts with what people actually think. Every profile has a prompt, like an unpopular opinion, a 2am thought or a song on repeat. Your reply is your hello. MEET NEW PEOPLE, ANONYMOUSLY • Pick a display name and a Hay avatar. That is all a stranger sees. • Your real name, email and phone number are never shown. Share more only if you want to. • Your gender stays private unless you choose to show it on your card. • Sign in with Google only if you want to keep your account when you change phones. TONIGHT'S PEOPLE • A new set of people every day, with shared interests first. • Read their prompt and reply. They see your reply before anything else. • Set a mood for the day and pick the interests you want to talk about. • Know someone's username? Search for them directly. TALK TO STRANGERS NEARBY • Turn on Nearby to see people within 25 km and make friends close to you. • Only a rough distance like "1–3 km" is shown, never your location. • Send a chat request, or accept one from someone around you. • Hide yourself any time, and your stored location is deleted straight away. CHAT ROOMS FOR EVERY MOOD • Join group chat rooms that anyone can drop into: Late night talks, Music, Cricket & sports, Movies & series, Gaming, Food, Travel, Books & writing, Tech & startups, and Random. • See who joined and who left, and how many people are talking right now. • Room messages clear after 7 days. CONNECT, THEN CHAT PRIVATELY • When someone accepts your reply, you are connected and get a private one-to-one chat. • Share photos. They arrive blurred until tapped, with location data removed. • See when your connections are online or when they were last seen. • Private messages and photos are deleted 24 hours after they are sent. SAFE BY DESIGN • Phone numbers, bank account numbers and card numbers are hidden automatically in every chat. • Report or block anyone in two taps. Reported messages are kept so they can be reviewed. • People who are reported repeatedly in a room are muted automatically. • Turn on a filter that masks offensive words in messages you receive. • Blocked people never see you again, in rooms or in Nearby. • Delete your account and everything attached to it from Settings, any time. HAYLIO PREMIUM (OPTIONAL) Chatting, chat rooms, Nearby and making friends are all free. Premium adds: • Filters by gender and shared interests, in Tonight's people and in Nearby • A fresh set of people whenever you want • Undo your last skip • Highlighted replies, pinned to the top of their requests (3 a day) • See who viewed your card today • Exclusive avatars, your own card colour and a Premium badge Monthly and yearly plans. Cancel any time in Google Play. PRIVACY, IN PLAIN TERMS No ads. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with advertisers. Your location, if you use Nearby, is stored only as a rough area and deleted after 24 hours of not opening Nearby. Haylio is for adults aged 18 and over. It is a place to talk and make friends, not a dating app. Sending or asking for explicit content gets an account removed. Chat with strangers who are worth talking to, anonymously, nearby or in a room that never sleeps.
