Bonsai: Transform in 6 Months

Transform your life in six months. Bonsai is a calm, practical, science-backed way to build habits — rooted in Japanese philosophy and honest by design. You grow a single bonsai tree by showing up in real life, and in about six months of consistency it rises from a fragile sprout to a tree that touches the sky. Six months is on purpose: it's roughly what real transformation actually takes. Most habit apps nag, track, and guilt-trip. Bonsai does the opposite. There is nothing to verify and no one to fool — every log is a small act of honesty with yourself. WHY IT WORKS • Science-backed. Built on proven principles of habit formation — small repeatable actions and daily consistency over motivation spikes. • Japanese philosophy. Shaped by kaizen (continuous small improvement) and wabi-sabi (calm, imperfect progress). • Honest by design. No tracking or verification of your real life. Ever. HOW IT WORKS • Four hearts. Your tree quietly loses one heart a day. • Water = your work. Log the everyday doing (deep work, admin, business). It is the only thing that restores a heart, and it never makes the tree taller. • Nutrient = your growth. Log self-development (training, learning, rest, strategy). It is the only thing that grows the tree, and it restores no health. • One honest log per task — up to four of each a day. Efficient, no streaks to game. • Two quiet reminders a day, at 10am and 6pm. They stop for the day the moment you have logged your growth, and they never make a sound. • Reach the top and lock your tree as a permanent keepsake, then begin again. GROW TOGETHER — PARTNER MODE • Link with one friend and tend a single tree between you. Eight hearts, four each, both sides visible to both of you. • Your water heals your own four and nothing else. The tree dies the moment either set runs out, so nobody can quietly carry anybody. • Growth is stricter: only nutrient you BOTH log on the same day counts. The rest never counts at all. • Most accountability apps let one person coast. This one makes that impossible. FREE, WITH A CALM UPGRADE Bonsai is free and supported by unobtrusive ads.
