File Studio is a professional Android file manager designed for security, speed, and ease of use. It combines file exploration, archive handling, text editing, and terminal tools in one app — so you can browse, manage, and edit files on your device without switching between multiple applications. FREE FEATURES File Explorer Browse shared storage with bookmarks, dual-pane, and tabs. Move, copy, and organize files across folders. Deleted items go to Trash and can be restored within the app. An app manager lets you browse installed apps and open their storage locations. Nearby Transfer Send files to another File Studio device on the same Wi-Fi network. You can pick a nearby device, enter the receiver’s IP:port, or scan a QR code. Transfers use TLS encryption. Scanning relies on Google Play services — the app does not request camera permission. Archives & APK Open ZIP-based archives, including APK and XAPK, to extract, search, and inspect contents. Basic Text Viewing & Editing View and make small edits to plain-text files with syntax highlighting — useful for configs, logs, and scripts. Media Viewing View images, audio, and PDF files directly in the app. PREMIUM TOOLS (SUBSCRIPTION) Premium unlocks advanced tools for power users: Large-file & Code Editing — Edit larger text files and source code. Hex Editor — Inspect and edit binary data with address, hex, and ASCII columns side by side. DEX & APK Inspector (View-Only) — View APK and DEX content with a class tree and read-only Smali/Java views. Terminal & Remote Connections — Use built-in terminal sessions for command-line tasks. Connect to FTP, FTPS, SFTP, SMB, and WebDAV servers. On-Device Sharing — Share a folder from this device over FTP, FTPS, SFTP (Android 8+), or WebDAV, and display a QR code for the share address. Image Editor & Pro Video Tools Database Browser — Browse SQLite database files. ROOT / SHIZUKU If Root or Shizuku is already available on your device, File Studio can use it for elevated file access. This does not require a Premium subscription. PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS File Studio is built for on-device file work. The app requests “All Files Access” so you can browse and manage files across shared storage after you grant permission. This permission is used solely for file management functionality, not for unrelated background data collection. SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS Premium is available via weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly plans. A subscription is not required to use the free core features. Trial eligibility is shown in Google Play before you subscribe. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play. What's new

Fixed the flash when closing the floating terminal. Fixed file list errors when Root or Shizuku could not read a system path. With Shizuku, some folders that can be entered but not listed, such as /data, now show entries that can be opened. Fixed files that would not open through Root or Shizuku because copying them into the app cache failed. With Shizuku but not full root, the drawer shows shell, and the terminal can use that access.
