Full description
You already have a playlist — an M3U link or an Xtream account. Hamster Player reads it and gives it an interface built for the screen you are on. Hamster Player is the player that puts things back in order. YOU BRING THE SOURCE, IT HANDLES THE REST Hamster Player provides no channels, no films and no series. It plays what you give it. Nothing is preloaded, nothing is imposed on you. WHAT IT DOES • Live TV, with what is on now, what is on next, and the full guide. • Resume: you find your media again where you left it. • Favourites, to reach what you watch without crossing the whole catalogue again. • Catch-up, when your source offers it. • Audio tracks and subtitles, chosen while watching. • Search, in the channels as well as in the catalogue. ON THE TELEVISION AND IN YOUR HAND The app is driven with the remote on Android TV, and by touch on phone and tablet. It is the same app: it knows what it is running on. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO No advertising. No analytics. No trackers. Hamster Player sells no playlist and no subscription. It hosts, distributes and indexes no content, and provides no means of obtaining any. The app ships empty: it plays only the sources you provide. TRY IT WITHOUT A PLAYLIST A technical demonstration is built into the app. Press Continue without adding a playlist and it loads, so that you can see how the player works before typing anything. It disappears from the list as soon as you add your own playlist.

What's new

An update for the television and the remote. • An episode you have already started offers to resume where you were or to start over, and watched episodes are marked at last. • The titles under the posters are no longer cut off. • A long press on OK adds or removes a favourite, without opening anything. • Entering a playlist: the field stays visible above the keyboard, and your credentials are no longer altered by autocorrect.
