HAI Compass is an informational companion app for patients receiving Hepatic Arterial Infusion (HAI) pump chemotherapy and a clinical reference for the providers who manage their care. FOR PATIENTS & CAREGIVERS Refill Countdown & Cycle Tracking Keep track of your pump refill schedule with a clear countdown timer. HAI Compass follows the alternating FUDR and heparin/saline phases of your treatment cycle, so you always know where you are. Symptom Diary Log how you're feeling each day with a simple, guided symptom tracker. Rate common side effects, flag urgent symptoms, and prepare summaries to share with your care team before appointments. Companion Mode Caregivers can pair with a patient's account to follow along with refill schedules and symptom trends, helping provide support between clinic visits. FOR PROVIDERS Dosing Reference Calculator A reference tool for FUDR dose calculation using the published Kemeny/D'Angelica protocol. Supports full reservoir (30 mL) and 14-day cycle display modes. Includes LFT-based dose-modification references with reference-value ratios, overweight-adjusted dosing references, and recommencing references after treatment holds. Every calculation is informational — clinical judgment, dose review, and dose approval rest with the prescribing physician. Patient Record Management Track per-cycle data for each pump (referenced by hashed serial number — full plaintext serial numbers are never stored in our cloud). LFT trends and prior dose-modification context carry forward automatically. DATA HANDLING Data is encrypted in transit and at rest and stored under a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement with Google Cloud. Patient names are never stored in our cloud database, and pump serial numbers are stored only as an irreversible cryptographic hash. The clinician calculator reports a calculated result from the selected published protocol using the values entered; it does not determine the dose to prescribe or administer, and the treating clinician remains responsible for the final order.
