GuruVox Library

GuruVox Library moves a photo or video from your phone into your GuruVox media library, where it is ready to attach to a post. Without it, getting a picture off your phone means mailing it to yourself, finding it again on a desktop, and uploading it through a browser. This app is that whole errand, reduced to a click. REQUIRES A GURUVOX ACCOUNT This is a companion app for an existing GuruVox studio. If you do not have one yet, answer a few questions in the app and we will set yours up. TWO WAYS TO SEND A FILE Share it. In any app that can share, choose your photo or video, tap Share, then GuruVox Library. Or pick it here. Tap Add a photo or video and choose from the system picker. Either way it goes straight to your own library, and you can keep picking more while the first one is still going. BUILT FOR LARGE VIDEOS A long video should not hold you on one screen. Uploads keep running in the background with a progress notification, and a transfer cut short by a dropped signal resumes from where it stopped instead of starting over. Files up to 2 GB. Leave the app, change networks, or restart the phone. Anything still waiting stays queued and picks itself back up. IT DOES NOT READ YOUR CAMERA ROLL The app holds no photo library permission at all. It cannot scan, index, or browse your gallery, and it never asks to. What it receives is the individual files you chose, in the share sheet or in the system picker, and nothing else on the phone is visible to it. Only the files you pick are sent. YOUR LIBRARY, ON THE PHONE See everything you have sent, play a video back, and remove an item from your library everywhere rather than only from this phone. WHAT YOU CAN SEND Photos: JPEG, PNG, GIF and WebP. Videos: MP4 and QuickTime. Up to 2 GB per file. WHERE FILES GO Into your own library inside your GuruVox account. Not to a public feed, not to a social profile, and not to any third party. The app carries no cloud credentials of its own: every upload is handed a short lived link good for that one file and nothing else. Your originals stay exactly where they are. The app has no permission to change or delete anything in your gallery.
