Full description
HomeBase Auth is the two-factor authentication app for HomeBase accounts. When someone tries to sign in as you, your phone asks first — and nothing happens until you approve it. YOU'LL NEED AN ENROLLMENT CODE There's no account to create here. This app only works if your organization uses HomeBase and has given you an enrollment QR code to scan. If you haven't been given one, ask whoever manages your HomeBase account. HOW IT WORKS Scan the enrollment QR code once to link your phone to your account. When a sign-in needs approving, your phone gets a notification. Open it, check the request, and tap Approve or Deny. If your organization enables it, your account list also shows a six-digit code that refreshes every 30 seconds — handy when you have no signal. You can add more than one account, and use the same account on more than one device. SECURE BY DESIGN Approvals are signed with a private key created on your phone that never leaves it, so an approval can't be forged or reused by anyone else. Notifications tell you a request is waiting and nothing more — no account, no details on your lock screen. There's no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The camera is used for one thing: reading your enrollment code. REMOVING AN ACCOUNT Open the account and choose Remove. Your enrollment is revoked and every key and token is erased from your phone. Published by Guardian Systems, LLC on behalf of Homebase, which operates the HomeBase authentication service.
