GreyRecon is a WiFi and network scanner for auditing the network you're already on. See who is on your WiFi, identify every device, scan open ports, and check your router, cameras, printers and smart-home gear for weak spots, with a real device list and not just a device count. WHAT IT DOES - Multi-method discovery: native ARP/NDP, mDNS, UPnP, and active TCP-probe scanning, merged into one real device list, not a slow ping sweep. - Device classification: routers, cameras, printers, game consoles, and smart-home gear identified automatically from mDNS signatures, open ports, and vendor data. - Device History: track devices over time, name them yourself, get alerted when something new joins your network, and see IP-change history. - Security tools: TLS/cipher analysis, security-header checks, common exposure and debug-panel detection, default-credential testing, SNMP community-string checks, and NVD/EPSS-prioritized CVE lookups. - Recon tools: subnet calculator, DNS lookup, WHOIS/RDAP lookup, Certificate Transparency log monitoring, typosquat/homograph domain checking, and BLE scanning. - A real terminal: a genuine interactive shell with real Unix tooling, plus an original package manager for installing more CLI tools.
