RaDaConnect

You know your shamba. RaDaConnect helps you keep track of what is changing. Built in Kenya by RaDa SAT SVC LTD alongside GreenStemGlobal, RaDaConnect brings farm maps, weather, photos and field work into one place. It is made for smallholders, agronomists and the officers who work with them, from a family plot to a cooperative or SACCO field team. Whether you farm for the home or for kilimo biashara, the idea is simple: useful information, close at hand, to support the knowledge you already have of your land. **See your shamba** Map your boundary and explore the satellite readings available for your farm. Compare crop cover and moisture readings over time, check the weather and choose where to take a closer look. Readings carry dates; fresh satellite views depend on clear skies and available data. **Walk. Take a photo. Keep a record.** Use guided farm walks to record what you see, with a time and location attached. Log field observations and keep photos alongside your work. These ground checks help build a clearer picture of your farm. **Check a crop** Take a photo of a leaf or crop that concerns you. RaDa Intelligence can suggest possible issues to investigate and next steps to consider. Confirm what is happening on the shamba, with an agronomist or extension officer where needed. **Jamii: Uliza. Share. Jifunze.** Ask a farming question, share an experience and learn from other farmers and agronomists. Find conversations around your crops and county, and keep track of your own questions. Replies from AI are labelled so you know who, or what, is answering. **Keep your field work together** Record spraying, weeding, harvesting and other jobs. Assign tasks and follow their progress. When you need to look back, your farm records help you see what was done, where and when. **For cooperatives, SACCOs and field teams** The RaDaConnect web workspace brings several farms into one view. Teams can look across farm maps and compare available crop readings with rainfall and temperature. Access follows each person’s farm permissions. **Made for field days** Choose English or Mwananchi, the familiar mix of Kiswahili and English. Use Simple or Detail mode, with light and dark themes. Save field photos when the network drops; queued uploads sync when a connection returns. New satellite readings and photo analysis need a connection. **Farm to market: in development** We are also working on direct farm-to-market connections, so farmers can reach buyers without intermediaries. The aim is a shorter route to market and more value staying with the farmer. This service is still in development. **Your farm, your say** Manage who can access your farm and photos.
