Challenger

Challenger – Empower Your Team, Thrive Sustainably Challenger motivates employees to achieve ESG goals, fostering a culture of well-being and environmental impact through engaging challenges and measurable results. Our Mission Challenger was born from a simple yet powerful idea: encourage people to walk and cycle more by rewarding them for reducing CO2 emissions. Air pollution remains a significant challenge in our communities, and we believe that small, everyday choices can lead to meaningful environmental change. By combining healthy habits with sustainability goals, Challenger transforms individual actions into collective impact. How It Works Challenger brings workplace wellness and sustainability together through fun, gamified challenges. Employees compete with colleagues in activities that benefit the environment, society, and personal well-being. Companies gain access to a comprehensive dashboard for planning, organizing, and measuring the success of their initiatives. Key Features Participate in curated sustainability challenges or create custom activities tailored to your organization's goals Complete activities by submitting photos or tracking walking and biking distances Compete on leaderboards and earn points for your contributions Choose from diverse activity categories including Environmental, Social, Sports, Wellbeing, and Culture Access data-driven insights through Power BI reporting to measure ROI and improve future planning Health Connect Integration Challenger integrates with Google Health Connect to automatically sync your walking and biking activities, ensuring your workplace challenge progress stays accurate and up-to-date without requiring manual input. Why We Use Health Connect: Challenger uses Health Connect permissions to read your walking and biking distance data, enabling seamless activity tracking for workplace challenges. Background sync occurs every 6 hours and only when you are logged in, have granted Health Connect permissions, and your device has network connectivity. This enables real-time leaderboard updates and accurate challenge tracking while minimizing battery usage through Android's WorkManager API. Only new walking and biking distance data recorded since the last sync is read to update your challenge statistics. You maintain full control and can revoke Health Connect permissions at any time via Android Settings, disable background data in system settings, or stop all syncing immediately by logging out. Trusted by Leading Organizations Challenger is loved by companies including Telekom, Raiffeisen Bank, ProCredit Bank, A1, Polar Cape Consulting, Inscale, and many more. Join thousands of employees making a positive impact on their health and the environment—one step at a time.
