"Two 45s to shift it 200 mm. How long do I cut the piece between them?" — This is the tool for answering that on site. Figure it before you cut. ■ Four calculations [Offset] For a two-fitting offset: the travel (centre to centre), the run, and the length of pipe you actually cut. It subtracts the fitting takeout, so the cut length is the number you mark. Angles 45°, 30°, 60°, 22.5°, 11.25°, or type your own. [Rolling offset] When the run both rolls and rises: the true offset and the roll angle. The angle is shown measured from the horizontal AND from the vertical, so you do not roll it the wrong way. [Mitered pipe] The cut line as a table of ordinates: distance around the circumference and depth from the base line. You choose how many stations.
